IP-POS EFTPOS Network
With IP-POS SmartPay bring lead the way to the future of
electronic commerce. By installing our proprietary device -
the WebNAC - a merchant is able to process an EFTPOS transaction
via an internet connection, affording numerous benefits.
How IP-POS works
The IP-POS allows an EFTPOS terminal to be securely broadband
enabled, providing an instant way to interface legacy EFTPOS
terminals and use new broadband technology. The security aspects of
IP-POS are integrated into the WebNAC network offered by
SmartPay.
This means that on a shared telephone line, transactions can be
done without having to wait for someone to "get off the line". On a
dedicated line, the line can be "freed up", the merchant can
relinquish the phone line and make a saving.
The IP-POS works with any terminal and is fully certified by
ETSL.
The IP-POS can fall back to dialup when the broadband is not
available or a fault is detected in the IP-POS; in this case the
IP-POS will default to dial up via the PSTN to the TTS network.
Installation is simple. Just plug the terminal into the IP-POS
and connect this to a broadband router.
By unplugging an EFTPOS terminal and plugging it into an IP-POS,
then connecting the IP-POS into a modem connected to the internet,
a merchant can process transactions over the internet.
